Capturing Precious Moments: Newborn Photoshoot with Daisy Mae

This photoshoot was extra special to me, as it was not only my first time photographing a newborn baby but also my first time meeting my dear friends Nicki and Daniel Emes’s little Daisy Mae, who was just 21 days old!

Little Daisy was such a beautiful and sweet little soul, like a delicate doll. She had the most beautiful features, making me reminisce about how, only a mere 12 months ago, my own son was once this little. Daisy’s big brother Hunter, now 3, was a doting and thoughtful little boy who just wanted to be near his little sister and help his mum.

Capturing these moments was a truly heartwarming experience. The love and tenderness that Nicki, Daniel, Hunter, and Daisy shared were palpable and made each photograph a testament to their beautiful family bond.

I am incredibly thankful and lucky to have such wonderful friends who trusted me to capture these precious moments of their sweet little Daisy Mae. This session reminded me of the profound joy in documenting life’s fleeting and beautiful stages.
