Capturing the Ravesteyn Family: A Beautiful Family Photography Session at Bush Gardens
I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Ravesteyn family—Josie, Luke, Caleb, and little Levi—at the picturesque Bush Gardens. This family photography session was a joy to capture, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
From the moment we started, it was clear that the Ravesteyn family shared a deep bond. Josie and Luke's kind, caring, and sweet nature shone through, making the session flow naturally. Caleb and Levi were a delight to photograph; their brotherly love was evident in every candid and posed shot.
The Bush Gardens in Coulthard Reserve provided a stunning backdrop for our session. We captured a variety of shots, from candid moments of the boys playing to beautifully posed family portraits. The natural environment allowed Caleb and Levi to run around and have fun, creating genuine smiles and laughter that translated perfectly into the photos.
One of the highlights of the session was capturing the family bonding together. Whether it was Caleb and Levi playing or Josie and Luke sharing a tender moment, each photo tells a story of love and connection. The Ravesteyns made my job easy with their relaxed and joyful demeanor.
After our time at Bush Gardens, we headed back to my home studio for a special cake smash session to celebrate Levi's first birthday. Levi had the best time playing with his cake, lovingly made by his mum, Josie. His joy was contagious as he splashed around in the bath, with Caleb joining in the fun from the sidelines. This milestone was a perfect ending to our session, and I was honored to capture these precious moments.
It was an honor and a pleasure to photograph the Ravesteyn family. The love they share and their sweet nature made this session truly special. I am grateful to have been part of this milestone for Levi’s first birthday and to create lasting memories for their family to cherish.
